CreateIT - digital solutions since 2012
CreateIT was founded in Riga in 2012. We started out building websites and, as our clients' projects broadened, expanded into e-commerce, mobile apps, business systems, AI solutions, branding, marketing and cybersecurity. Technology changes, but the requirement stays the same - what we build has to be justified, maintainable and easy to understand, even after handover.
We work both on new builds and on existing projects, which we take over and continue developing. Our experience includes company websites and online stores, digital services for central and local government, system integrations, and projects where availability, security and performance under heavy load are essential.
Our approach
We start a project by establishing what needs to be done, where things stand and what the constraints are. As the work progresses, we show you what has been done so far and agree the key decisions while they can still be changed without an unnecessary rebuild. We also take over existing projects - first we review the code, the infrastructure and the critical problems, then we agree how to get the project in order and develop it further.
What you can expect from us
A few principles that guide our technical and commercial decisions:
- We do not guarantee results we cannot control, such as a specific position on Google. We set out the work we can deliver and measure.
- Before development starts, we agree the scope of work, phases, timeline, pricing model and responsibilities. If the whole project is not yet defined in enough detail, we start with a discovery phase or a first development phase.
- We do not recommend custom development just because we can build it. If a maintainable off-the-shelf option will do the job, we assess that route too.
- Under our project terms, the delivered project code remains with the client. For each project, we set out what the handover covers and what documentation is needed.
