If orders, customer data, documents or reports travel between Excel, email and several systems with a person's help, your company spends time every day on work that can be put in order. We study the process, connect the existing systems and build what is missing - from integrations and automation to custom business systems and AI.
Where digitalisation brings a practical benefit
We start with the places where the process currently demands unnecessary manual work, not with the choice of software:
Order flow
We connect enquiries, orders, fulfilment and record-keeping, so that information does not have to be retyped between email, Excel and other systems.
Customer data
We put the flow of customer information between the website, CRM, sales and other working systems in order, and define where the primary data is kept.
Warehouse and resources
We connect orders, stock levels, the movement of goods or materials and other record-keeping into a single data flow.
Document workflows
We digitalise the preparation, approval, statuses and handover of documents between people and systems, while keeping the control that is needed.
Management information
We bring together data from the sources required, so that several differing versions of files and systems do not have to be compiled by hand for each report.
Is LIAA support currently available for digitalisation?
The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) has administered support for process digitalisation and AI solutions, under which the costs of developing and implementing digital solutions were also eligible. Applications for the most recent programme closed on 7 November 2025, and LIAA currently states that there are no plans to resume support under it. For that reason we do not promise funding - before a project starts we check the support options then available and, if a suitable programme is open, prepare the technical proposal to meet its requirements.
Choosing the process
We start with a specific workflow that involves a lot of manual actions, duplicated data, errors, waiting or unclear responsibilities.
Studying the data and systems
We establish which people and tools are involved, where the data originates, where it is retyped and which system should be its primary source.
Defining the solution
We separate human decisions from the steps that can be automated and establish what to keep, what to integrate and where a new part of a system or AI is needed.
Rolling out in stages
We start with the priority part of the process, test it in real work and extend the solution on the basis of the actual result and the next needs.
Show us a process that takes too much manual work today
We will assess what in it is worth connecting, automating or building anew. We reply within one working day.
Digitalisation does not mean starting everything again
Keeping what already works
If an existing system does its job well, we look for a way to bring it into the overall process and do not replace it for the sake of the project.
Connecting the systems
We build integrations and data flows between your company's tools, so that a person does not have to act as the go-between for two systems.
Building what is missing
If off-the-shelf tools do not cover an essential part of the process, we build a custom business system, a customer portal or a specific piece of functionality.
AI where it is justified
AI can be useful for processing text, documents and other unstructured information. For precise rules and data exchange, ordinary automation is often enough.
Start with one process
You do not have to digitalise the whole company in one project. Choose the process in which your team most often retypes data, searches for information, waits for approvals or repeats the same actions. We will study where the problem arises and which solution is justified for it.
Frequently asked questions
Where should business digitalisation start?
Start with a specific process that involves a lot of manual actions, duplicated data, waiting or errors. We study how the process runs today and only then establish whether an integration, automation, a new part of a system or another solution is needed.
Does digitalisation always require a new system?
No. The greatest benefit often comes from connecting the systems already in use, automating data exchange or building only one missing part of a process. A new system is justified when the existing tools substantially limit the process you need.
Can LIAA support be obtained for business digitalisation?
LIAA has administered programmes for process digitalisation and AI solutions, but applications for the most recent programme closed on 7 November 2025, and LIAA currently states that there are no plans to resume it. Support options change over time, so before a project we check the current information on Business.gov.lv. If a programme that suits the project is open, we can prepare the technical solution, the scope of work and the cost proposal; the decision on eligibility and on granting funding is made by the programme administrator.
Can CreateIT deliver a project that receives public support?
Yes, if the conditions of the project and of the support programme concerned allow it and CreateIT is selected in accordance with the supplier selection procedure laid down. We can prepare the technical proposal, the scope of work and the costs, and provide the technical deliverables planned in the project during development. We do not promise that funding will be granted or that CreateIT will be selected in a particular procurement.
