SEO audit

An SEO audit shows what is holding back your website's organic visibility and where there are sound opportunities for growth. We check your site's technical condition, indexing, content and off-page signals, and look at where your competitors stand. You get our conclusions and a prioritised action plan, not just a list of errors from an automated tool.

What the audit checks

Technical condition

We check indexing and crawlability, site structure, internal links, canonical URLs, redirects, duplicate content, structured data, performance and other technical issues that can make it harder for search engines to find and understand your pages.

Content analysis

We look at whether your most important topics have pages to match, whether the content meets the user's search intent, and whether the headings, internal links and information architecture help make it clear what each page is about. We also identify significant content gaps and overlap.

Off-page profile

We assess your site's off-page signals and backlink profile in the context of your sector and the competitors selected for comparison. We look for risks, gaps and genuine opportunities to strengthen the site's authority, rather than mapping out a guaranteed route to a specific ranking position.

AI search readiness

We check whether your key content can be crawled, has a clear structure, states its facts plainly and is linked to your business, your services and your sources. All of this helps in both traditional and generative search, but an audit cannot guarantee that you will be cited in a specific AI answer.

What you get

Audit report

The issues and opportunities we find, each with an explanation of why it matters, where it shows up and what SEO risk or limitation it creates.

Prioritised action plan

We rank the recommendations by importance, how complex they are to implement and how they depend on one another, so the team doing the work knows what to do and in what order.

Competitor overview

We compare your key topics, content and visibility signals with those of selected competitors to see where the differences matter and where they are not a priority.

Approximate scope of work

We set out how complex the work will be to implement and what expertise it calls for. The plan can be carried out by CreateIT, your own team or another supplier.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an SEO audit cost?
The cost of an SEO audit depends on the size and type of the site, the number of languages, the markets we need to analyse and the depth of research required. The scope of work is very different for a small company website and for a large online store. We give a specific price in our proposal, after an initial assessment of the site.
How long does an audit take?
The timeline depends on the size of the site, the scope of the audit and the access we need. We set it out in our proposal before work starts. After the audit, we take you through the main findings and priorities, so that the team acting on the recommendations can use the report as well.
Can we implement the audit recommendations ourselves?
Yes. We write the recommendations so that your in-house team, CreateIT or another supplier can work from them. If needed, after the audit we can also agree separately on implementing the technical and content improvements.
How is an audit different from free SEO tools?
An automated tool can quickly pick up a lot of technical symptoms, but it does not know your business priorities and cannot always tell which issues matter on a particular site. In an audit, we check the tools' data in context, look for the causes and put the recommendations in the order in which they should be carried out.
